I have to start off by saying that I kind of want to punch the person who sliced this roll in the face. Who the hell cuts sushi like that??? It’s just wrong! Thankfully, it’s a cool thing to see, up until the point where they ruin it like a bunch of doofuses.
The awesome snack, or sushi abomination (depending on your opinion) was created by the sushi chefs at the Sushi Chef Institute in Torrance, California. This is just one more reason why there’s no excuse for them to have sliced it the way they did…
At around one foot in diameter, the roll isn’t a world record or anything, but the fact that they needed a sword to slice it, no matter how incorrectly, is a testament to its Yuuugeness.
