World’s Oldest Dash Cam Footage From 1926 Of Fire Truck Heading To A Fire In New York City

We’ve had plenty of dash cam videos on the site. I’m pretty sure that most of them come from Russia where, for some reason, everyone seems to have one. What we have here might just be the very first dash cam ever taken. It is a film that was created in 1926 and that showed the point of view of a fire engine heading to a fire in New York City.

The roads are horrible and the traffic is insane. There’s even a part of the video where the fire engine had to get up on the sidewalk to maneuver their way around a traffic jam!

the cool thing is you get to see it all from them getting in the truck, all the way to when they fight the fire.
