In news that is just about guaranteed to soil the pants of any hard core gamer and fantasy fan, the worlds of Magic: The Gathering, Lod of The Rings, and Warhammer 40k are about to converge.
The announcement came in a new article on the WSJ. The Lord of The Rings will be getting a full expansion pack within the game. Meanwhile, it is assumed that the Warhammer 40k crossover will most likely be a Secret Lair Drop similar to the previous crossover between Magic and The Walking Dead.
The new crossovers are part of an increased focus on fantasy brands like Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons and Dragons which are responsible for bringing over $800 million to Wizards of The West Coast in 2020 alone.
