Marvel Deluxe Transformers Marvel Deluxe Transformers Crossover Hybrids Iron Man & Spider-man

If I’ve learned anything from Hasbro’s Marvel Deluxe Transformers Crossover Hybrids Iron Man & Spider-Man set, it’s that superheroes and intergalactic alien robots can co-exist quite peacefully in toy form. With help from Mr. Fantastic, Iron Man has created new battle suits for some of earth’s mightiest heroes — namely himself and Spider-Man. What’s great about this set is that while technically they’re still superheroes, they’re also transformers. This really gives new meaning to the phrase “More Than Meets the Eye.” Both Spider-Man and Iron Man can transform into individual airborne fighters or combine into a mega super bomber with launching missiles. The set also boasts six different conversion modes between both figures, with the best being the infamous Macross GERWALK mode (or “Guardian Mode” in Robotech). For those who think this set may be a bit pricy, consider what you’ll be getting. You’re not only getting two articulated action figures of everyone’s favorite superheroes, but also two transformable figures that can combine into one.

Wolverine Electronic Claw

As a fully grown man who eats all his vegetables with adult responsibilities, I am not afraid to admit how awesome Hasbro’s Wolverine Electronic Claw is. If I had a complaint, it’d be that it comes packaged with only one set of claws. Last time I checked Wolverine has two… So to really enjoy them you’re kind of forced into buying two. But whether you have a set or a pair, they’re a lot of fun and I cannot recommend them enough. The electronic claw requires 2 AAA batteries (not included) and makes electronic claw-slashing noises when you swing them wildly or chase pets around the house. For those worried about safety, the electronic claws are all extremely dull and rounded despite being fairly realistic looking. With a handle on the inside and adjustable Velcro straps, the electronic claw is a one size fits all. But what really makes them great is their ability to “retract” with a flip of your wrist. To put them back you’ll have to manually push them back. They’re not spring loaded or anything fancy, so you also don’t have to worry too much about breakage. Overall, the Wolverine Electronic Claw is an exciting toy with extremely high replay value for anyone, any age.

Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters

They’re all the fun of a real hamster minus the poop, smell or death. Sure, these little fuzzy robotic interactive hamsters may not be the best things to give your kids this holiday, but they are pretty cheap and they are kind of hypnotic. Kids will play with these things for hours, petting them, pressing their noses, making them go in their balls… I’ll be honest, I don’t quite get it, but the kids love them. Not to mention they’ve been named they’ve been named this year’s hottest toy… ya, I still don’t get it.
